Terheggen & Dethlefsen Food Engineering is a dynamic, flexible, medium-sized company in the food industry. At our location in Hamburg, we develop recipes and produce dry spice blends including functional ingredients for the food industry. Our developments mainly include delicatessen and instant products, but also desserts and other innovative products. Our customers, who appreciate the quality of our work, are the focus of our activities.
We are looking to strengthen our sensory quality assurance team as soon as possible. If you have a passion for quality, then you've come to the right place.
These tasks await you

Incoming goods and raw materials inspection
You check incoming goods and raw material samples according to a defined test plan. You work closely with external laboratories to carry out all necessary analyses. -
Document management
You ensure that all documents for our raw materials are up to date, from specifications to allergens and certificates. If necessary, you will be in direct contact with our suppliers. -
Quality assurance and complaint management
You check and release ready mixes, checking the weighing data and carrying out sensory analyses. In the event of complaints, you will work closely with other departments to find solutions. -
Additional areas of responsibility
You will take part in supplier audits and become a member of our Food Fraud Team. You will work with us to develop our sustainability strategy for our company.
Your profile
You have completed training or a degree in food technology, ecotrophology or a comparable subject - committed career starters are also very welcome! Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in quality assurance in the food industry or would like to develop your skills in this area. You are interested in sensory testing methods and food law regulations or are willing to familiarize yourself with these topics. You are characterized by analytical thinking and a careful way of working. You enjoy working in a team and communicate confidently in German and English.
